Interesting yes, but it has to be simple enough that the coding wont cause issues. So that may be too advanced for them to worry about at the moment. Its a good proposal though as blitz said.
I absolutely agree, ease of implementation is probably the highest priority right now. I was just imaginating
Also, you never know if something wouldn'tâ actually be easy to do with just a little tweaking of the idea and/or code.
But if the game has too many breakoffs from code i feel bugs will be numerous. If the survival counter has a condition that once it reaches a certain amount it adds a background buff that resets survival bars on an hp death, thats a lot of different things your asking the code to do at once. This isnt a perfect example but the more complicated the task the more coding and more chance for errors.
