What about regen hp when stay stopped?
While moving you can't regen ur hp?
Or pots or something like that.

there is a skill now which does this (Can learn as early as level 6)

also, I've found it helpful to kill hostiles that drop cloth, then constantly craft bandages (and dirty bandages) as I grind to keep my health up. Healing at the doctor with money earned from selling bug meat also works really well - you can also buy first aid kits and stuff, but that seems pretty expensive for a low level character imo

If you kill dope feinds they drop bandages I have no problem getting my HP back up.
