Healing others

Hey,

I decided to be a medic/engineer to maximise my in game utility. I reckon when the crafting system is implemented I will be able to assist my fellow players with crafted items.

Being a healer, however, turned out to be much more self centered than I thought. With an increased healing of 302% even Dirty Bandages heal about 15% of my health bar. The problem is I cannot help others. I can craft bandages and gift them, but they still heal a sliver and make someone sick.

I'd like OV to reflect the helpful character of a healer by either letting me produce better bandages or allowing me to directly apply my healing skills to other players.

This will probably be a ELS tab feature.. stay tuned!

Im also in favor of such a system, would add some interesting feature to the game and five some fun for ppl liking to be a somewhat more defined role (even if just partially)

Also note that all suggestions and ideas are welcome, all posts are read and taken into consideration, so dont be shy and keep expressing your ideas :)

Totally agree - I actually discussed this during alpha testing, and was basically told that the plan was to eventually implement the ability to use healing items on other players. Obviously, there are details to work out; for example, you would not want people to be able to kill each other with dirty bandage sickness lol ;)

That's why putting the condition that only positive healing items can be used for this (clean bandage, first aid kit) would be a good solution xD

Or maybe link it as a ELS tab skill and get a first aid spray or similar to be usable just for the purpose of using on someone else than oneself :)

First thing I thought.... spam someone with dirty bandages and trashy stims.
