Fencing skill bug maybe?

So idk if it is the fencing skill but i imagine it is, since it has part of the passive being melee only. But even with my axe equipped theres no visual change. I dont know if the 2% is even effective. But here is the pictures to show what i mean. First is my skills showing i have them, then my stats with each weapon

Also id like to note at no skill points i had 10% dodge if i get 1 dodge every 2 dex that at 23 dex i should have 21% dodge. Commando skill gives another +3 making my dodge 24%. The two skills i have that increase dodge in dex are the first one, and the fencing skill, both supposedly give +2 dodge. So i should have 28% dodge. Why am i only at 26%? If it is a melee only dodge then it needs to be more specific. And id like a stat reset as a reward for the bug. I planned out my stats as much as i could for desired results, but to my suprise it didn't turn out cause of this circumstance. I cant farm the same area now and thats frustrating considering the problems that brings. Please GMs let me if you can verify this. Maybe make a fake char to test it.

Its called fencing for a reason, involving blades va blades wich is melee, specific enough, but ok just like ranged ones have (ranged only) maybe for these to make it more obvious, an (melee only) wouldnt hurt.

And some skills that involve only melee and not ranged, just dont show up or add it visually on your stats, but are in effect (so maybe suggesting to show the effects on the stats anyway and make it change depending if one is using melee or ranged).
