Oh, I forgot that you wrote about a completely different quest and started checking the quest that this post is about. Next time, create a separate post about the problem with other quests better

You need to complete the quest in which you need to bring George the ingredients to create the Nailgun. Complete this quest and after that the next dialogue with this npc will remove the quest from the journal
