Knife set as secondary weapon doesn't activate skinning skill from dexterity tree. In inventory it does. I found no logic in that.

The knife must be in your inventory for the skill to work. With a knife equipped, it is impossible to kill a coyote for an untrained player

I'm taking about situation when knife is set as secondary, on the belt, not primary as rifle. Just like hunters do in real life, knife for skinning is on the belt not in backpack. Pure logic that were somehow lost during development. I hope that new feature will be added soon
