New Player needs some help

Hello everyone, new player here! first of i love this game and having a really good time but now to my problem:
i just invested 1 skillpoint into INT FirstAid unlock but it doesnt show up in the crafting screen, i also tried diffrent crafting Stations but still No. Maybe im missing something? Or a bug maybe?
also another question i have: i found out that there is no level cap, does that also mean the player can earn every skill or does it cap at some point? (i dont wanna ruin my char)

You need a normal workbench and the Doctor skill to see the First aid recipe. There is no level limit, but every 10 points invested in any direction of the character will require 1 point more and thus the difficulty increases

Doctor Skill? I tried to find that but idk, in the skill tree there is only the "first aid" skill that says it would unlock it and if i try to craft at a workbench i still only can craft clean bandages but no first aid kits! Is the doctor skill something i get from a quest? Or did you mean first aid? Im confused abit now sry for that

The description of the skill you are talking about does not literally mean this item. You need a second skill for crafting, which is located immediately after the First Aid skill
