Actually shrooms is a more common name for "magic shrooms" or "psilocybin mushrooms". Anyways the magic mushrooms or shrooms contain a illicit drug called "psilocybin" the drug in the mushrooms cause memory issues and flashbacks in the long run. It increases your heart rate and breathing speed which are common symptoms of taking the "shrooms". So your right it should be called mushrooms instead of shrooms.
