I think there should be a mechanic to the billboard that usually has just survival tips that allows you to pin up bountys you can set a certain amount of money on someones head and get that upon completion of the kill, these prices should usually be very high considering its a mans life maybe a 100-500 credit fee as is plus whatever cash you put on the bounty alone,and they will be marked for 3 days if they do not get killed by a player in 3 days they will claim their own bounty getting the cash making the system beneficial even to the victim at points,I believe killing these bountys should not count towards outlaws because its a bounty not an innocent person(I'm sure youd have reasons to have to spend that much money on someones death) anyway that wraps up that system to be honest I really think this should be put into consideration a lot of people have grudges against high level characters but dont have the power to take them down themselves.

this system can be abused, one could log off in a specific position and reach out there with a secondary or a friend, log in and be killed by secondary/friend to claim the bounty.

So working as suggested isnt a viable option.

I honestly see nothing wrong with that. It doesn't matter who claims the bounty just that the player gets killed. It'd be better for the person to wait it out and claim the bounty themselves than having a friend or alt kill them anyway.

Having friends that'll have your back is a key part in any mmo game.

I like the idea. Although I'd add any outlaw kills would be rewarded by the system. Meaning there's like a permanent bounty for all outlaws that the game pays you for killing them.

I've seen this kind of system abused in other games, the way it has been proposed it cant work right and will be abused, outlaws get already killed on sight most of the time and they decide if this has been done early on to remake the toon, later on players arent dumb enough considering the exp loss that would come in case of being chased down all the time already without bounty, figures with lol
