Healing revamp

I think the health healing system needs to be revamped.

1. The Military aid kit should instantly heal
2. The first aid kit should heal within 5 seconds
3. Bandages should follow the healing rate that is currently in the game.

I think this would be quite helpful especially as the game progresses to tougher mobs and higher lvl players.

can agree on point 2 and 3, but 1 cannot agree because it would be abused in pvp.
The point its requiring some time is to make you plan ahead the healing instead of last second healing, since it takes some time before it actually heals you, after you used it up.

I am behind aegis on this. Insta heal would get abused. Also intelligence and related skills affect healing speed and effectiveness....although I have had trouble measuring this.

I would suggest the addition of a numerical health display so that players could measure the effects of healing and healing items. For example 150/150 health. This would also help us notice and report any bugs in the healing process.

Maybe even have a visual effect over a players head that shows when they heal, like a dissipating "+5 health". Although that might get laggy.

i think your numerical health display suggestion is good.
Maybe getting the numbers to show on the bar, or right bellow it.

I don't understand how this would be considered abuse...... the pack isn't a complete100% heal to begin with one applies the military pack and its effect are immediate.. one could make it a two stage heal 50% immediate then the other 50% 3 seconds later... The point is it a more valuable heal item so it should have quicker effect.

Because of this part it can be abused, if the first part after using it once heals instantly 50%, then the other 50% in 3 seconds, one just needs to use two of them in a row for a full instant heal.. so thats how it would be abused.

how is that abuse I'm still not clear....it would give the person that has those kits an advantage but that isn't abuse.. I can use several healing items really quickly.. and sort of have the same effect. anyway my opinion.

really quick yes, but theres still some time from when you use them to when they actually start to heal...unlike the suggested first step of healing (a insta heal, even if just partially by 50%, should be 10% tops as insta heal to make it not abusable for long time since they cost quite the coins this way).
