When does the Bug Queen egg reset?

I'm in the final stages of a quest to find the missing Harris, but it looks like the queen's egg was killed by another player before I got there. I know there is only one Queen Egg on the server, but I don't know when the Egg will spawn again. So when will the Queen's egg be revealed again? Is it when the server is reset or when the server clock completes one day and moves on to the next?
