unequipped armor/weapons disappear

where: Arabs camp map

What: i unequipped my Mk something arm guard "sorry i can't remember the full name" at the arabs camp map so i could run faster when i transitioned to the old farm map decided to equip it back since the speed difference wasn't much it was gone. it happened before with one other weapon and gas mask i think. Also i have 3 bandit orders in my inventory that won't go away no matter what i do.

Why: i don't know

I didn't quite understand what you wrote. Did you switch to another map and lose items for no reason? You didn't die at that time and didn't throw away or sell any items?

Sorry if my post confused you but yeah that's what happened. I didn't die and didn't sell anything and my upper arm armor was gone when I switched maps. Also, I now have 3 bandit orders and 2 notes with the location of the suitcase from the clearance quest I can't delete from my inventory. Is that normal? Although I haven't completed both quests if I delete them from my inventory and pick the notes back up it just adds up.

Lost item returned. Notes are a quest item and cannot be lost (with the exception of losing them on death), but they will be automatically removed from your inventory when you complete the quest at location 5.1. You can also come there again even after completing the quest to remove the remaining unnecessary notes

Something similar occured to me, but was not the unequiped gear, but the gear my character was wearing/wielding.
Lost a G-Suit set (jacket, pants and vest) and a Louis LMG. A bunch of ammo for the LMG and a bunch of Med Kits too.
I was on first town, near the storage, and loged in and all my gear was droped and then I lost the best gear I had.
Please someone explain me what happen, it sound to me some scam, hack, anyway, some trick to stole my stuff.
I want my stuff back, or at least a rollback to before the incident.

I came back to the game after years of not playing but afew days ago when I was on map 5,2 I tried to swap my gun with my axe it bugged out and deleted my LMG Louis, im unsure why it happend, I didnt throw or delete any of the weapons or attempted to sell it. Im pretty confused on how that happend
